Appreciation for Local Church Heritage
What a mercy that the Lord has placed me in a Christian family. Not only so, through His great sovereignty, my grandfather met the local churches in mainland China, was profoundly impacted by the ministry there, and later entered into and served in the local churches in Taiwan. I always felt so fortunate concerning my Christian heritage. Nevertheless, such a heritage does not guarantee that I would continue meeting with the local church. My Christian heritage surely provides me a strong base from which I can make progress in my pursuit of Christ.
I pray that the Lord will preserve me in my pursuit of Christ and my participation in the building up of the Body of Christ until He comes (Ephesians 4:12-16). Hallelujah!
